The January 26, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw was supposed to emanate live from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, but a blizzard in the Northeast and travel ban in the state of Connecticut forced WWE to move the show to its headquarters in Stamford.

Michael Coel and Booker T welcome us to this special edition of Raw. Cole informs us that we will see the Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from the Royal Rumble on Sunday night in its entirety, as well as the full 30-man Royal Rumble match. He also tells us that Brock Lesnar is in the building for an exclusive interview later tonight.

JBL is up on the roof and does a joke bit about the weather conditions. Cole then introduces the title match, which airs in full.

Brock Lesnar retains his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena and Seth Rollins after what can only be described as a nearly flawless Triple Threat match. The crowd was hot and vocal for this entire contest. Lesnar ate four Attitiude Adjustments (including three in a row at one point) and a Curb Stomp, got speared through the barricade and got smashed through the Spanish announce table. Rollins eventually hits Cena with a Phoenix Splash, but Lesnar recovers and gets involved again. Rollins hits the champ with the briefcase a few times and then attempts a Curb Stomp on the briefcase, but Lesnar recovers and F5s him for the win.

After the match airs, Cole informs us that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will have exclusive interviews later tonight.

Cole does the interview with Rollins and they break down the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Rollins also reminds us he still has the Money in the Bank contract. Cole thanks him and says Lesnar is coming out next, but Rollins refuses to leave.

The champion emerges after a commercial break and Rollins knocks the chair over and leaves. Lesnar and Paul Heyman sit down, and Lesnar confirms his storyline broken rib injury. Cole asks if they are at odds with The Authority, but Heyman says this is a mutually exploitative relationship that sometimes gets tense. They talk about his victory over the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30.

Cole mentions Roman Reigns, the winner of the Royal Rumble and Lesnar's opponent at WrestleMania 31 for the title. Lesnar says he's happy for Roman and hopes he's up for the challenge because he's on a roll and everyone needs to just get out of his way or get rolled over. Heyman simply says Reigns cannot beat Lesnar.

The Royal Rumble match begins, and Roman Reigns wins it. He is left in the ring with Big Show and Kane but manages to eliminate them both. As he celebrates, the two giants reenter the ring and assault him. The Rock's music then hits and he rushes the ring to save Roman. He hits Show with a Rock Bottom and Kane with a People's Elbow. Rusev, who was down outside the ring and not eliminated, then comes back in, but Reigns throws him over the rope to win the Rumble.

The crowd absolutely hated this match, especially after Daniel Bryan came in as the 10th entrant but was the 11th man eliminated. Bray Wyatt took him out, which completely deflated the crowd. That sadness turned to anger as the crowd revolted with numerous chants and boos, even when The Rock was in the ring.

Byron Saxton interviews Reigns, who addresses the criticism that he is not ready for WrestleMania 31, the reaction from the crowd in Philadelphia, and the belief that he has been hand-picked for success by the higher-ups in WWE.

We learn that John Cena will face Rusev at the Fast Lane pay-per-view next month, and Triple H has also challenged Sting to a face-to-face confrontation at that event.

We learn Arnold Schwarzenegger is the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

Dean Ambrose is at WWE headquarters and enters from outside. Byron catches up to Ambrose, who is playing with a thermometer. He tells a crazy story about hitchhiking to the building from Philadelphia and says he will make it to WrestleMania.

Renee Young interviews Daniel Bryan, who talks about his run to WrestleMania 30 last year and subsequent injury. Bryan also talks about the fans' reaction to the Royal Rumble match and his elimination, and he admits he is upset that Reigns won not because of Reigns, but because Daniel Bryan lost. He accepts responsibility for losing but says he didn't have The Rock helping him. But he has no doubt Reigns can succeed at Mania if he puts in the work and makes the necessary sacrifices. He also addresses his Casket Match with Kane on the live SmackDown this Thursday and says he needs to end things with his former tag team partner once and for all.

Roman Reigns meets Brock Lesnar, and Heyman shakes Reigns' hand. He asks if he can ask the questions tonight instead of Cole, and Reigns agrees. Heyman talks about his history with Reigns and his family and refers to Lesnar's demolition of The Rock back in 2002. He asks how Roman will handle disappointing his family when he loses to Brock Lesnar in the main event at WrestleMania 31.

Reigns says he'll give his answer to Brock and turns to face him. Reigns says he knows what he signed up for, but he doesn't think Lesnar does. And if he can't take the title, then he'll take a piece of Lesnar with him. The two stand up and shake hands. Lesnar says he does not respect Reigns, but Roman tells him he will.
