'Hannibal' Season 3, 2015 Episodes Casting News: 'True Detective' Yellow King Villain Will Play Mason Verger's Personal Nurse - Two Creepiest Shows Collide!

Actor Glenn Fleshler made his way into all of our nightmares last year thanks to his portrayal of Erroll Childress on HBO's hit series True Detective. Also known as the "Yellow King" or more simply the Lawnmower Man, fans of the series were truly creeped out and terrified of the show's main villain, especially in the climactic season finale when ... well we won't share and spoilers here. Anyway, it looks like Fleshler is enjoying the creepy TV drama genre so much that he joined the scariest one on network television: NBC's Hannnibal. In season 3 of the critically acclaimed horror series, Fleshler will portray the personal nurse to Mason Verger (recently recast with Joe Anderson in place of Michael Pitt). According to TV Line's Michael Ausiello, we can expect another scary character from Fleshler in 2015.

"I've learned exclusively that the actor has been cast as Cordell, the personal nurse of the disfigured Mason Verger," Ausiello explained this week. "The character is described as 'quiet, very intelligent and definitely creepy,' yet 'attentive and gentle with Mason. He's a professional who cares about his work, but we get a sense he might be as sadistic as his boss - and a perfect fit to become his potential henchman.'"
