Suge Knight may never have a free day out of prison. MStars News has learned that the former record label CEO got into a fight on the set of the N.W.A. film project in Compton, and ran over a man, who passed away after going to the hospital. Knight fled the scene, making it a hit-and-run incident.

According to TMZ, a number of witnesses revealed that actors and rappers Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were on the film's set when Knight rolled up in his car. The drama started when Knight was asked to leave the set. The gossip site reports that a fight erupted between Knight and 2 men, as he backed his car up in reverse hitting a man who later died. Witnesses claim that Knight reversed his car more than once, with intent to harm the men who were arguing with him.

In an update, we learned that there were actually 2 fights. The first one happened on the set, and the second one, where Knight reversed his car, happened at a nearby restaurant.

If you listen to the following audio closely you will hear a man explaining the fatal ordeal:

There were no details on if the victim was part of the movie in production. A source claims that Ice and Dre were not on set when the fight happened, they had already finished working for the day.

As to why Knight would use his car for force, sources that are close to the accused claim that he felt threatened after previously being shot 6 times last year at a night club.

The man who passed away was named Terry Carter, a friend of Knight's who had come with Knight to the set. Carter was hit when Knight reversed his car as he was trying to walk to the passenger door.

Knight's attorney, James Blatt claims the death of Knight's friend was an accident.

"He was in the process of being physically assaulted by two men and in an effort to escape he unfortunately hit two (other) individuals," the lawyer stated, according to FoxNews. "He was in his car trying to escape."

There were two other hit-and-run victims, too. One man, Cle "Bone" Sloan, is an actor from the hit movie Training Day, he and the other man are still in the hospital, but expected to survive.

As for Knight, police arrested him and charged him with murder. The troubled music mogul's bail was set at $2 million.
