'Red Road' Season 2 Spoilers: Are Jason Momoa, Martin Henderson, Julianne Nicholson Heading To Prison? [WATCH]

Sundance TV has released a new teaser trailer for Season 2 of their crime drama, The Red Road. As the series heads back to Ramapo Mountains, are things going to get worse for Harold Jensen (Martin Henderson), Jean Jensen (Julianne Nicholson), and Phillip Kopus (Jason Momoa) as one of them is heading off to jail?

The Red Road revolves around police officer Harold Jensen (Henderson), who is trying to keep his family together. While his wife, Jean (Nicholson), is drowning herself in alcohol, Harold ends up partnering with Phillip Kopus (Momoa), a dangerous member of the Ramapough Mountain Indians. The disappearance of a college student causes the tribe and town to be divided, forcing the cop and ex-con to compromise their rules.

According to E! Online, during the season one finale, when the Albanians found Phillip (Momoa) in Harold's (Henderson) custody, the guns came out and bullets were flying everywhere. During the shootout, Philip and Harold ended up saving each other's lives.

Season Two picks up with the duo still at odds with each other. Phillip and Harold aren't so happy to be in the same room together. During their intense chat, Harold seems to have gotten a promotion, while Phillip might be heading to prison.

On the official SundanceTV Youtube account, the teaser trailer has been released. The caption states, "This April Jason Momoa returns with THE RED ROAD, only on SundanceTV."

The former Stargate Atlantis actor has been on a hot streak since landing on Game of Thrones. Though Khal Drogo will be missed, no one can deny that his role as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will take his career even further. While we wait and see if Aquaman will be getting his own solo movie, it's definitely cool to see, as Momoa puts it, "a brown-skinned superhero."
