We're guessing she should've kept her day job. One of former stars of RHOC is getting into a little bit of financial trouble after she has fallen behind on her mortgage payments. It seems that Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi's former co-star Peggy Tanous is more than 75 months behind on her house payments and is on the verge of losing the residency. According to Radar Online, the one-time, famous reality star reportedly owes more than $1.54 million on two different houses -- first on her California house in Irinve that she has missed the last 75 months of $6,000 payments each, totaling $840,000, and second on her 2006 mortgage for a home she still owes $300,000 on.

It is going to be hard to pay all her debt back, as Tanous is reportedly only making $30,000 a year, which is what she receives in child support payments from her ex-husband Micah Tanous.

The star has been out of work since she left The Real Housewives of Orange County after only completing one season in 2012. With the cast having yet to be announced, do you think Penny could be making a return to the show? We are highly doubtful, but we are hoping for her sake that she gets another job soon so she can get out of her mortgage debt.

But Peggy did reveal to RumorFix in September that she had been contacted by Real Housewives of Orange County producers to see if she would be interested in coming back, but it was her that ultimately turned them down.

"They called me to see if I had any interest again or if any of my friends did," the former star explained to the news site, adding that she "said no."
