Measles Outbreak Spread, Vaccine Debate: ‘Daily Show’ Host Jon Stewart Weighs In On Subject Following Slam On CNN Coverage [WATCH]

It looks like Daily Show host Jon Stewart has a few things to say about the current Measles outbreak going on throughout the country along with the debate surrounding the accompanying vaccine. On last night's episode of the Comedy Central hit, Stewart took on CNN's coverage of the outbreak, including a certain portion in which he noted a woman in California was practicing "mindful stupidity."

Calling the issue "vaccine ignorance," Stewart joked (sort of) that there's no longer a red or blue America. "There's just a needlessly sick America."

Further getting into the debate, the iconic comedian and talk show host played a clip in which a woman claimed to have had her children vaccinated ... "for the most part." Which, of course, is just confusing.

"We live here in Marin County," she said, "which is a pretty liberal place. It's a well-educated group of people. It's a thoughtful group of people. I think if parents are choosing not to vaccinate, it's probably for a reason."

Which is exactly what called for the comedian's "mindful stupidity" comment.

In the end, the host thought it best to deliver the news in such a way that we cable television viewers would understand––you know, by comparing the outbteak to that of zombies.
