Apparently, "Stoner" emcee Young Thug thinks hip-hop mogul Jay-Z is way too old to still be rapping.

Funny that HOV manages to keep releasing hit after hit even at 45-years-old!

In a recent interview with the popular men's magazine GQ, the 23-year-old Atlanta native unintentionally dissed the "crusty" rapper. In regards to being a "music lifer," Thug explains:

"Yeah, I’ma be here forever. I don’t want to rap forever. But I want to be rich forever... I don’t want to be 50 years old and rapping, man. I’m pretty sure nobody wants to do that. I’m pretty sure Jay Z don’t wanna rap right now" (via Bossip.com).

That's when the "Lifestyle" superstar dug himself into an even bigger hole:

"If you’re 30, 40 years old, you’re not getting listened to by minors. Like, Jay Z has some of the sickest lyrics ever, but I would never buy his CD, just because of my age and because of his age. By the time I turn that old, I ain’t gonna be doing what he’s doing."

Really? Would MstarsNews readers still in their youth stop buying these albums, just because HOV is apparently "past his prime?" Well, fellow emcee Eminem is 42-years-old, and he's currently considered one of the hottest artists in the industry. Just as an example...

Wonder if the Beyonce's beau will hit back?

Rumors suggest that the Magna Carta superstar's been involved in a heated feud with Cash Money mogul Birdman for several years now. So is Young just supporting his well-known associate?

Maybe it's time for Lil Wayne to team-up with Roc Nation...

Maybe it's time for another epic diss track. But do some MstarsNews readers agree that Thug actually has a good, relevant point - should "middle aged" Jay just focus on his growing family right now?
