Charli XCX should NEVER mess with One Directioners!

In a recent interview with Q Magazine, the "Boom Clap" songstress does not intentionally diss the beloved "Story Of My Life" boy banders. But she does indirectly suggest that One Direction's music is sort of sh*t...

In regards to "X-Factor" mastermind Simon Cowell and his renowned record label SYCO, the 22-year-old English pop princess reveals:

"I think Simon Cowell's cool, I'd love to be in that position, but from the point of view of making music that's not sh*t."

Ouch... remember, 1D is probably the biggest act signed to Cowell's label. Wonder if Harry StylesLiam PayneZayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan took XCX's subtle "diss" to heart?

Well, several of their Twitter fans sure did!

@drunk0fnjh: "One direction are on the top of the world, you arent on the top of the hits either so you better shut up @charli_xcx respect to be respected."

@CakeLarry5SOS1D: "i heard charli xcx dissed one direction i love her but wtf."

@adiarafio: "@ASOS @charli_xcx #askcharli IS SHE A FAN OF ONE DIRECTION."

@jeezayns: "When ur fav artist disses another fav artist lmao."

@sian_1Direction: "charli XCX disses one direction and calls there music sh*t! clearly she has no taste in music! @onedirection."

Other big-name musicians signed to Cowell's British label include: Fifth Harmony, Alex & Sierra, Susan Boyle, and Bea Miller (among many others).

Charli has yet to clear-up her rather offensive comments in order to appease angry fans.

Apparently, the entire industry bothers the "Doing It" crooner, so she doesn't just have issues with One Direction. Maybe it's time for her to start her own label!

"I couldn't make any pop music because I hated pop music. I just didn't want to think about it I wanted to be free... It was a case of getting it out of my system. I felt stuck."

Interesting...
