The Vampire Diaries is about to say goodbye to one of their own. The series, which is currently in its sixth season, is losing star Steven R. McQueen who has been with the supernatural drama since the beginning. The star's exit is being felt heavily amongst the cast and as a parting present they decided to prank him on his last day filming.

According to Entertainment Weekly, McQueen will be making his exit during the 14th episode of the season.

"It's time for him to go out and live his life and we're actually going to say goodbye to Steven R. McQueen as a series regular," creator of the series, Julie Plec, told the news site. "He's growing up and moving on. He will be out living a real life."

So what does that mean for one of our favorite relationships on the series between Bonnie and Jeremy? Will the two say be saying goodbye to each other?

Well, Kat Graham stayed pretty coy on the "Beremy" romance when talking to E! News.

"I can't say that Bonnie ever really has closure with anyone, you know what I mean?" the star explained. "She kind of just ups and leaves and does her own thing whenever she wants to. But, I will say that it definitely does get addressed. I won't say that it doesn't."

Kat also says that Bonnie isn't the only one that is going to be missing Jeremy, but she will also be missing Steven when he leaves. As a parting present the cast staged a prank for McQueen during his last day of filming.

"There's actually this really cool video," Graham says of McQueen's exit. "We videotaped it, so I think they're going to release it really soon. We jumped out and surprised him while he was shooting his scene and it was super fun. I mean, it felt like a celebration of such a great, momentous moment, a culmination of all these years that we had all spent together with him. And he was somebody who brought such silliness and young fun energy to the set. He will be deeply missed."

The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursday at 8 p.m, on The CW.
