With another DC Comics title getting its own pilot, the TNT superhero lineup has been revealed. Based on the Teen Titans series, Titans has now added Starfire, Barbara Gordon, Raven, and more to join Nightwing, Batman's former boy wonder, Robin, now all grown up and known by his new name.

In the DC Comics Universe, Robin formed a team with other teen superheroes, such as Wally West aka Kid Flash, and Beast Boy. Together, they faced off against the X-Men's Dark Phoenix and Slade Wilson, known as Deathstroke the Terminator. Titans revolves around Batman's former sidekick-turned superhero as he puts together a band of new superheroes.

According to the Nerdist, Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner Jim Gordon, the alien princess Koriand'r (Starfire), Raven, daughter of inter-dimensional demon Trigon, and the crime-fighting duo, Hawk and Dove, will be making their way to your TV screen. No word yet if Beast Boy or Cyborg will join the team as well.

Will Barbara don the Batgirl costume? Or will she be confined to a wheelchair and become known as Oracle? Will Nightwing, Starfire, and Barbara spark a romantic love triangle, like in the comics? Will Hawk become the super villain, Monarch, and beat Dove to death?

We previously mentioned, the Vampire Diaries actor, Steven McQueen is lobbying for the superhero role. Though he's departing from the popular CW show, executive producer Julie Plec mentioned McQueen is welcome to return to the show, "unless he finally gets his wish to play a superhero and he's unavailable."

The Flash executive producer, Geoff Johns, also mentioned on Twitter he expects to start shooting the pilot sometime in 2015.

As mentioned before, the boy wonder has become a globe-trotting spy in his own solo series, titled Grayson, from writers Tim Seeley, Tom King, and artist Mikael Janin, which we highly recommend picking up. A high concept idea, Grayson is a superhero/spy comic but with none of the costumed heroes involved.

The pilot of Titans will start filming in 2015.
