WWE Spoilers: Five Possible Opponents for Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 31

Daniel Bryan will face Roman Reigns at Fast Lane for the chance to fight Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 31.

Fans are clamoring for this match to happen, but the consensus seems to be that Reigns will still move on to face Lesnar. Consider this snippet from Cageside Seats posted on Friday:

Whether he turns heel or not, whether he beats Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane or not, whether he wins the title at WrestleMania or not, WWE is apparently absolutely dead set on Roman Reigns being the guy to take John Cena's spot as the top star in the promotion.

So with that in mind, whom could Bryan face at Mania? Let's break down a few possibilities.

Brock Lesnar 

I know we just said this match isn't happening, but this is still the match everyone wants, so let's just get it out of the way.

Bryan vs. Lesnar would be an incredible match. The David vs. Goliath story writes itself. The talent of both men speaks for itself, and we'd likely see a five-star match between the two.

However, let's look at the cons here. Lesnar is one of the stiffest workers out there. It's what makes his matches so visceral, but it's also not good for someone like Bryan, who is coming off a severe neck injury. One German suplex from Brock would quite likely kill Bryan, and that's only partially a joke. Brock could hurt him badly.

Also, the size difference is quite ridiculous. CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar worked at SummerSlam 2013 because of the no disqualification stipulation. But Lesnar outweighs Bryan by about 80 pounds. He could crush him to dust easily.

Still, it's a match we'd all love to see, so here's hoping we get it.

Dolph Ziggler

These two have been campaigning for a match on Twitter, and they could very well get it. The Show Off and The Beard could put a hell of a technical bout, and I can already picture Ziggler selling Bryan's running knee by flying backwards into the turnbuckle. The story here is a concern because there really isn't any reason for them to have beef, but WWE could come up with something. Maybe Ziggler costs Bryan his match against Reigns?

Sheamus

WWE seems dead set on giving Bryan a rematch against Sheamus from WrestleMania 28, as every year the rumor goes that the two will square off at Mania. This would be pretty underwhelming, unless we get heel Sheamus again. He too could cost Bryan his match against Reigns, and we'd be off to the races.

Bray Wyatt

The rumor is that Wyatt is supposed to work with Undertaker at Mania, but we'll see if that comes to pass. Bryan and Wyatt bring out the best in each other, and I'm instantly more invested in Bray when he faces Bryan. The two also have history, which is key for any Mania match.

Seth Rollins

Bryan has named Rollins as a dream opponent, and the two had a gangbusters match on Monday Night Raw this week. Rollins is the top heel in the company and Bryan is the most over babyface, so a match between the two seems like a no-brainer. The story is pretty easy, too. Bryan is the people's choice, while Rollins is the Authority's golden boy. They don't need much more than that to start a fight.
