With a huge awards show like the 2015 Grammys, there is bound to be some kind of wardrobe malfunction. Well, leave it to Kim Kardashian to have a fashion emergency minutes before stepping out onto the red carpet. While the star is known for showing off her naked body, she almost showed off a half-done fashion masterpiece during last night's awards show. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians starlet ripped her gold Jean-Paul Gaultier gown and was busy fixing it moments before getting out of her car.

The star opened up to People at a Grammy afterparty, where she explained her last-minute stress as she tried to repair the embellished golden gown.

"Basically, my pocket fell off -- the whole pocket fell off," Kardashian explained to the news site. "When I say it ripped and we were sewing and safety-pinning."

And it doesn't seem like the dress would be that hard to rip, as it weighed a ton.

"It's probably 100 pounds," Kim told the site of the high fashion piece.

It seems she has Kanye to thank for puttng all the extra weight on her, as she said he was the one who picked the Gaultier fashion design out for her.

"He saw this online at a couture show and sent me the picture and said, 'Babe, do you like this dress?' He called the designer, gets it and it's sitting in my dressing room," Kim gushed, adding, "I'm the luckiest woman alive."

Despite the last-minute altercations, it seemed that Kim's gown has helped to land her a spot on Best Dressed lists, including MTV's, which also featured our personal favorites of the night: Katy Perry in Zuhair Murad and Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell.
