Ryder Cup 2012 Players, Pairings, US and European Teams, Friday Sept. 28th

The Ryder Cup 2012 will kick off Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 and the world's top players from the US and Europe face off in foursome pairings today.  The 24 players will gather at Medina Country Club.  Europeans have held the title since the US last won back in 2008.

The foursome matches will begin at 8:20 a.m. eastern time.  And four ball matches will start at noon.   

According to Bleacher Report, all 24 players are excellent players that are ranked within the world's top 35 players.  Below are the list of matches for today.

First Match:
Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell will play against Jim Furyk and Brandt Snedeker.  

Second Match:
Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia face-off with Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley

Third Match:
Lee Westwood and Francesco Molinari verses Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson

Fourth Match:
Steve Stricker and Tiger Woods is up against. Ian Poulter and Justin Rose
