National Coffee Day Free Coffee Locations: How About Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, McDonalds?

September 29, 2012 marks the National Coffee Day to celebrate the drink that has become a morning ritual for many Americans.  This holiday also brings free coffee deals from many vendors.  Unfortunately, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts will not be offering free coffee this year.  However, there are many other locations that will be participating in giving away freebies including McDonalds, 7-Eleven, Krispy Kreme, Tim Hortons, SavOn Stores, Kangaroo Express, Caribou Coffee, Einstein Bros Bagels and more.  

Each store has its specific set of rules and limitations and not all locations may be participating.  It is best to check online on the store's website or call the specific store location to verify before heading over there hoping for a free up of coffee!

Here some details we've found that may be helpful to you.

East Coast McDonalds are very generous.  They will be giving away free 12-ounce coffees from September 23 through September 29, 2012.  No purchase is necessary to get the freebie!  Remember to check if your location provides it.

7-Eleven celebrates on September 28, one day prior to National Coffee Day with a personalized "CofFREE Day"  Pick up a free large coffee at participating stores from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday.  No purchase necessary!

Krispy Kreme will give away 12-ounce House Blend coffees on Saturday, September 29th with no purchase necessary.  Click here to find participating locations.

Even though Dunkin Donuts is not giving away free coffee, they are offering a coupon that gives you either a 10-ounce hot latte or 16-ounce iced latte for $0.99 instead of the full price.  The coupon will expire September 30, 2012.  Click here to print out your coupon!  On National Coffee Day, Dunkin Donuts will unveil two holiday drinks: Pumpkin Mocha and Pumpkin White Chocolate coffee and lattes.
