Ahead of its newest episode on the Batman prequel, Gotham. Fox has released its latest featurette about the DC Comics' infamous villain. Will detectives Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) discover just how "fearsome," The Scarecrow, will become?

In our recent recap, while Fish sought salvation outside of Gotham, Penguin found himself feeling the wrath of mob boss, Sal Maroni (David Zayas). Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) were in a race against the clock to stop Dr. Gerald Crane (Julian Sands). Though they rescued one of Crane's victims in the nick of time, Dr. Crane is still on the run with son, Jonathan, who is destined to become the Scarecrow.

In the Scarecrow's origin tale, the detectives discovered Dr. Crane is making his fear toxins from the adrenal glands of his victims. In the comics, Dr. Jonathan Crane will one day pull out a gun and start shooting in his psychology class, tormenting his students.

Logue explains Gerald Crane's influence on his son, "He modifies his child in such a manner, he may never live a normal life."

Released on the Gotham Youtube page, check out the featurette, Fearsome, here:

As we previously mentioned, the two Batman baddies will meet on tonight's episode. Robin Taylor teased what will happen when the Penguin and Edward Nygma bump into each other, "I'm such a huge fan of Cory [Michael Smith]'s, and I can tease that we do have a moment. Penguin and Riddler meet, coming up, which is one of my favorite things that we've shot in the entire series. It's just one scene, but the dynamic between the two of them, they're such oddballs and they're so different from each other in the way that they're odd, you know?"

Will the two get along? Or will the duo end up hating each other?

We also mentioned, Milo Ventimiglia has joined the cast in the recurring role of the serial killer, Ogre.

Gotham continues on Fox Mondays at 8pm.
