Before the premiere of an all-new episode of The Flash, the CW network has released an all-new featurette. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) be able to protect themselves as they are reunited with an "unstable" Firestorm (Robbie Amell)?

In the mid-season finale recap, the Reverse-Flash and the Flash were in a race across Central city, in which the scarlet speedster ended up losing. Though the Reverse-Flash was caught in a force field, it didn't stop him from pulverizing Wells (Tom Cavanagh). If it wasn't for Firestorm, Barry wouldn't gotten a worse beatdown.

In our recent recap, the Pied Piper explained to Cisco (Carlos Valdes) what happened to Ronnie Raymond (Amell) the night of the particle accelerator explosion. Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) was caught in the explosion when his mind melded with Ronnie's. Could the reason be Ronnie didn't want Caitlin to follow him, was because Stein didn't know who he was.

In an interview with Comic Book, Amell reveals, "I'm sure down the road, Cisco will make him some sort of fireproof thing and...he'll do something Cisco-y and he'll have a badass costume."

Though the series has been renewed for a second season, after the next two episodes, Amell is sure his character will return before the end of the first season.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Garber describes his character, "He is sort of a reluctant hero. He's somebody who came into this without meaning to, this conjoining experience, and then, when we are finally separated, he's sort of at a loss. He doesn't know quite who he is or what he is. I think it's a process of rediscovering his atoms, and finding himself again. He's a really smart guy who the Flash enlists for help. Barry comes to him, and they have a great meeting. I think he becomes sort of an advisor, mentor guy."

The Flash continues Tuesdays at 8pm on the CW.
