Eminem Grammy Awards 'No Show' Sparks Hilarious Twitter Speculation After 'Best Rap Album' Win: Royce da 5'9" Hypes 'Probably Home In Detroit Making Beats Like Cool I Won?'

Eminem snagged two Grammy Awards during the star-studded 2015 ceremony held in LA on Sunday (February 8). That makes a grand total of 15 trophies for the "Rap God." Funny thing is - he probably doesn't even really care!

Slim Shady won "Best Rap Album" for the hit release MMLP2, and his "The Monster" duet with Rihanna was recognized as "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration." But it comes as no big surprise that the infamous Detroit emcee did not even show-up to the event. Some Twitter fans were amused (and rather disappointed) that the "Berzerk" emcee was MIA:

Shady Records hypeman Royce da 5'9" even joined in on the fun, re-tweeting this amusing thought:

In a recent email statement sent to MLive.com, Em's publicist Dennis Dennehy simply explains, "He didn't attend. That's all I'll really say."

The "8 Mile" star also stayed in Detroit during the 2003 Academy Awards, where he won an Oscar for "Best Original Song" for "Lose Yourself." During this honorable announcement, Shady was allegedly "napping" in the comforts of his home (via The Free Press).
