New Epix Network Stand Up Specials! Comedian Lisa Lampanelli Following Weight Loss, ‘Opie and Anthony’ Co-Host Jim Norton, Jim Breuer Before ‘SNL’ Season 40 Celebration [VIDEOS]

The Epix network is quickly becoming one of the greats when it comes to producing quality stand up specials. Having produced the likes of Jim Breuer in the past, it's now being reported that Opie & Anthony comedian Jim Norton and Lisa Lampanelli – following her immense weight loss – are gearing up to prep stand up specials for the network. Additionally, Breuer will be returning with yet another one-hour special following news of a 40th anniversary special at his former home, Saturday Night Live.

Up first is Contextually Inadequate from Norton, which is set to premiere on Friday, April 24 at 10 p.m., according to The Hollywood Reporter. The special allegedly covers topics such as the one and only Bill Cosby, who has been slammed with rape allegation after rape allegation, as well as the canning of Anthony Cumia, the former host of Opie & Anthony, which Norton is a prominent name on as well.

Lampanelli will bring Back to the Drawing Board to the network, premiering early in the summer on June 26 at 10 p.m. THR notes that the famed comedian – who recently dropped 100 pounds – will discuss her weight loss on top of getting divorced. And sure, there will probably some ethnic and racial slams in there as well...

On bringing the comedians to Epix, the network CEO Mark Greenberg released a statement noting his excitement, mainly for the trio's "take-no-prisoners, make-no-apologies approach to stand-up comedy.

"What distinguishes Epix in this arena," he continues saying, "is that we celebrate stand-up by letting comics do what they do best, in their favorite environments, and present their work to our viewers uncut and uncensored."
