While pop star Lady Gaga has openly gushed about boyfriend Taylor Kinney (with rumors circulating that the "Bad Romance" songstress has even considered marriage), the 31-year-old star of "Chicago Fire" has finally opened up a bit about his relationship with the Mother Monster, saying that "everything is great" and that he is "happy" with how the romance is going. Not to mention that Kinney totally digs Gaga's new, curvier figure.

While promoting his upcoming drama series "Chicago Fire" (which premieres on NBC Oct. 10 at 10 p.m. E.T.) on Friday, Kinney finally offered up some deets on his relationship with Lady Gaga (the two met while on the set of Gaga's "You and I" music video).  The former "Fashion House" star admits, "I don't think I've ever said anything publicly up 'til now. But I'm happy. I'm in a relationship, and I'm happy. Everything is great."

And apparently Kinney embraces Lady Gaga's new, curvier bod just as much as the Mother Monster does herself (the songstress recently admitted that she has gained about 25 pounds thanks to her love for good authentic Italian food).

Lady Gaga recently wrote on her interactive fan site (along with posting images of her new curves in a matching bra-and-panties set) - "My boyfriend prefers me curvier."

Kinney has relocated to the city of Chicago to continue filming for "Chicago Fire" (where he claims to be playing "a beer-drinking, blue collar, hard-working guy" fighting the most dangerous fires on the elite rescue squad at Chicago Firehouse 51) and it looks like Gaga likes to take the trip to join him in discovering some of Chi-town's most popular eateries. Apparently Kinney supports Gaga's love of Italian food - he admits that he's a sucker for Pizano's thin-crust pizza and eats there often.
