Ansel Elgort might have been one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood for a whole of five months before getting back into a committed relationship. It seems that living the single life wasn't really suitable to Ansel, as he traded in his bachelor title to get back with his ex-girlfriend Violetta Komyshan, even though dating rumors surround the Insurgent star over Sarah Hyland and Shailene Woodley.

The star opened up in the March issue of Details magazine about why he decided to get back with his longtime love and high school sweetheart Komyshan.

"I was doing OK," the star explained to the magazine of the few months without Violetta, "but I knew something was missing, and I was like, 'Oh, that's love.'"

The star had stirred up rumors that he was dating his Fault in Our Stars and Divergent co-star Shailene Woodley, as well as Sarah Hyland, after he showed up to the Modern Family star's birthday party earlier last year.

Sarah posted a picture to her Instagram account, which included her friends Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding, celebrating her big birthday. In the collage, Hyland is seen giving a hug to Ansel, which is what started the dating rumors in the first place.

Ansel had a breakout year in 2014, starring in some pretty big movies, but it seems that he is trying to stay as grounded as possible. According to E! News, the star is looking to spend his hard-earned money sensibly on things like a house.

"I want to buy a house now, so I can have my place and not worry about money."

He does say that he doesn't ever want his career to be driven by financial success, as he says this is when you "start f**king yourself."

"I don't want money to ever drive my career," the star explained to the magazine. "I want my career to be driven by what I want to do in art."
