The next chapter of the rebooted video game franchise based around the character Lara Croft, Rise of the Tomb Raider, is getting an Xbox exclusive release sometime in late 2015. While we wait for some new gameplay footage to debut in a trailer or two, the game's director, Brian Horton this week revealed some details about what to expect when you get to play the title. He spoke about "realistic" animals, the "supernatural elements" of the game and an in-game location of the game called "The Oasis." Find out more about this video game below!

In a new interview with GameInformer (via IGN), the game director teased some great new details about the upcoming release. We can expect an updated upgrading system that we saw in the 2013's Tomb Raider, plus some attractive in-game technology that makes players feel like we're experiencing the action. That doesn't mean that the lore of some of these tombs won't come to life. We can also expect the supernatural aspects of the franchise to play a big role in this new title.

Plus, "The Oasis" is a new setting that Horton teased in this new interview.

"It isn't completely permafrost," Horton said about the Siberian setting of the game. "This Oasis, which we're not going into a lot of detail about - just now that different weather, different temperatures are important to make sure we're not going with one single look throughout the whole game."

What do you think this Oasis will be like in the game? Will it be a safe haven for Lara or will it just be another location full of obstacles for her to overcome and survive? You can check out this interview over at GameInformer right here!
