New Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Sunday evening, confirmed by her husband Zachary Bogue through a post on Twitter. Looks like Mayer will have a lot to juggle with a newborn son along with plans to revamp and personalize the entire Yahoo brand.

Before joining the Yahoo team, Mayer worked as a top executive at Google for 13 years (becoming the company's first female engineer). Yahoo hired Mayer back in July, knowing that she was already six months pregnant. Since becoming Yahoo's top chief executive, Mayer has shaped a plan that refocuses the multinational internet corporation on personalization and mobility. She also replaced the company's chief financial officer, Tim Morse, with Silicon Valley veteran Ken Goldman.

Mayer plans on returning to work soon, debunking claims that motherhood would slow her ambitions for Yahoo down: "I like to stay in the rhythm of things," she told Fortune. "My maternity leave will be a few weeks long and I'll work throughout it."

This is Mayer's first child hubby and venture capitalist Bogue tweeted the happy news on Sunday:

@zackbogue: "Baby boy Bogue born last night. Mom (@marissamayer) and baby are doing great--we couldn't be more excited!"

Mayer also used the popular social networking site back in July to publicize her move from Google to Yahoo.
