The official release date for Drake's highly-anticipated upcoming album Views From The 6 remains unconfirmed. But to keep fans on their toes, the YMCMB superstar just released a surprise mixtape entitled If You're Reading This Now, It's Too Late. But is the Toronto emcee now acting a bit too cocky following the viral success of this new 17-track shocker?

According to the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com, Drizzy was partying in New York City on Thursday evening (February 12). Fellow hip-hop superstar Kanye West was also in the Big Apple to celebrate the city's annual Fashion Week - he even performed an impromptu concert. Pretty cool, but apparently Drake wanted a bit more of the spotlight.

An alleged eyewitness claims that when Big Sean hit the stage with Yeezy, the "YOLO" emcee walked right up to the front with his own OVO posse. Members of the crew took seats right alongside of the stage, and just watched. Funny enough, the two were performing the hit song "Blessings," which also happens to feature Drizzy:

Maybe Rihanna's ex didn't mean to cause a scene - but he certainly did! The MTO snitch explains:

"We figured he was heading to the stage - they stood closer to the stage - but turns out he just was there to post-up and low-key steal the attention. And sure enough, when Kanye finishes "Only One," Drake leaves and takes thousands with him - mobbing with him down the street on some ICON\New Age Michael Jackson sh*t!"

Perhaps a bit too cocky?

Now's not the time to make even more industry enemies. Drizzy managed to diss Tyga (and his rumored girlfriend, Kylie Jenner) on the epic track "6PM In New York" -

Drake blasts:

I heard a lil homie talking reckless in 'Vibe'
Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside
Oh you tried, it's so childish calling my name on the world stage
You need to act your age and not your girl's age

Tyga eventually fired back on Twitter with:

@Tyga: "@Drake u still a b*tch. All that sneak dissing is weak. Just pull up. I know where u live and u know my address... U been ducking the fade from Brown."

The open threat was eventually deleted. But do MstarsNews readers think the hot-tempered Mr. West will now shade Drizzy after "stealing" his show? Stay tuned...
