Ahead of its April release date, Netflix released two teaser trailers and a new official still for their upcoming superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil. Is Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in danger of "losing more than winning" when he actually becomes the man without fear?

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals have given him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be a blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen against crime.

A new image was released on the official Facebook page. In the photo, we see Murdock (Cox) sitting in the confession booth with a priest. Based on the footage from the trailer, we can tell Murdock is conflicted when he puts on the black mask. Is Daredevil just like the criminals he hunts after, since he's also breaking the law?

The caption states, "My dad, he used to come to this church when I was a kid. He was a fighter... lost more than he won... but he always got back up."

In an interview with IGN, showrunner Steven S. DeKnight explains the religious themes behind this scene, "I think it's vital to the character. Matt Murdock is, I think, one of the most, if not the most, religious characters in the Marvel Universe, with the heroes. His Catholicism is so much part of his being and part of his conflict, I think it would be incredibly disingenuous to attempt to do the show where that's not a big part of it."
