Move over Juliette Barnes and Rayna James, because another diva is about to come to town. While we have been beyond obsessed with Nashville this season, it seems that the creators are giving fans another reason to tune into the ABC musical drama. The Voice coach Christina Aguilera is making her way to music city, and we couldn't be more excited for her arrival.

According to E! News, the starlet has scored herself a multiple episode arc on the series, where she will be playing singer Jade St. John. We are wondering if she will be shaking things up with any of the gorgeous countrymen on the show like Avery Barkley or Gunner Scott?

The news site describes Xtina's character as a pop superstar that is obsessed with the country scene, and is even thinking of breaking into the genre. The site also characterizes Jade as "astoundingly talented and her careers supports a massive machine. She's a bird in a golden cage- surrounded by her success, and trapped by it, too."

People magazine also reported on the casting news, defining the "Dirrty" singer's character, as a force to be reckoned with, who has been going non-stop for the last ten years in the music industry. Despite her longevity, it appears that Jade is unhappy, as it has always been her dream to record a country record but her label won't let her.

Ugh, we would pay so much to hear Aguilera's golden pipes on a track with our girl Hayden. Can someone please make that happen?

We also wish we could be on set to hear new mommies Hayden Panettiere and Christina exchanging parenting tips, as we are sure that is what they are doing in between takes.

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
