Apparently, Beyonce and Jay-Z are planning to release a "surprise" joint album sometime in the near future. Hip-hop's top "power" couple's officially back in the game!

An alleged industry insider tells the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com that the "Drunk In Love" songstress will attempt to rap on several of the new tracks. If "Fancy" superstar Iggy Azalea can do it, so can Queen Bey - right?

"Beyonce saw how easy it was for someone with no talent like Iggy to get into that lane, so I guess she decided to go into it," the source reveals.

Ouch - did Blue Ivy's mama just throw major shade at the recent Grammy Award nominee? Or do these rumors just sound a bit too shady...

The snitch also suggests that Beyonce will NOT be writing any of own stuff. Instead, popular emcees Drake and Big Sean allegedly signed-on to "secretly" compose the majority of her songs. Apparently:

"After this album, people are going to be looking at Beyonce as Nicki Minaj's major rival in the world of female hip hop."

Nevermind dissing Azalea - is Bey ready to spark a heated beef with The PinkPrint muse? This should be interesting...

Of course, Twitter's currently abuzz. Nevermind the "seedy" hype, several fans are just excited the couple might be releasing new music soon:

@TheJRRobinson: "A Jay Z and Beyonce joint album coming out this year huh? Nice to see they're exploring new concepts."

@Ieighyonce: "If making a joint album w jay z means that I will hear new beyonce music soon, then so be it."

@mansoorasker: "this beyoncé and jay z new joint album should've happened 10 years ago."

And most MTOers are simply suspicious...

Monica Lay Ebony: "Beyonce is gonna keep on going until she completely dries up and can do no more. Something is off and very, very wrong. They work like they are desperate for money and it defies common sense. It makes me wonder if the rumors are true: that they are perpetuating this fraud of endless wealth and maybe don't have anywhere near as much as we've been led to believe."

Interesting...
