Kara Alongi was found in the security camera footage of Rahway Train Station in New Jersey. The police released the photo showing a relaxed teenage girl with a backpack on leaning against the wall near the ticket kiosk. In no way did the teenager look abducted as her Twitter account suggested.

On Sunday around 6:30 p.m. eastern time, Alongi tweeted a hoax message implying that someone had kidnapped her. The teenage girl has been missing since that last tweet.
"There is someone in my hour ecall 911," she wrote before disappearing.
From one tweet, thousands of people, families and friends were made to believe that she had been kidnapped. The Clark, NJ police went on a search for the 16-year-old. Family and friends camped out the home waiting for the missing girl to return home. Many messages of concern and prayers were posted on behalf of the missing teen.
After police investigated the home where Alongi's family lived, they were able to confirm that there was no foul play involved and that the teenager voluntarily ran away. A cab driver also confirmed that he had picked up Alongi and dropped her off at the Rahway train station.
"We continue to work with New Jersey Transit to review video available at the train stations," said Clark Police Chief Alan Scherb.
The police and family urged the teenager to return home, affirming that she will not get in trouble.
Kara Alongi's Twitter now has over 100,000 followers. She has become infamous for her Twitter hoax message. People had mixed reactions towards the hoax. Some people felt duped because they were sincerely concerned for her wellbeing. Others felt angry about Alongi and has begun to cyber bully the missing teenager with mean messages.
