Like father, like son -- well kind of. MStars News has learned that Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Patrick, got a taste of action like his father did in movies after he was involved in a car chase in the Los Angeles area. Poor guy was just trying to meet his girlfriend, MIley Cyrus, for lunch when it went down.

According to Page Six, Patrick, 21, was driving in the San Fernando Valley some time last week when another driver threw a bottle of water at his vehicle and took off.

Perez Hilton claims that Patrick was on his way to see his girlfriend, singer Miley Cyrus, to enjoy a lunch date when all the chaos happened.

Law enforcement are taking water bottles being thrown at cars very seriously these days and have revealed that Patrick's encounter is currently under investigation as an assault with a deadly weapon.

Schwarzenegger could've let the prank go, but didn't. Instead, he decided to pull a stunt like his father would in a film -- going after the attacker in a car chase, which ended when the driver who threw water at Patrick's car did a U-turn and crashed into Schwarzenegger's.

The crash and water prank could have been worse, but Patrick decided to drive off from the crash scene and finally meet up with Cyrus for lunch (where he later called the police).

If the Schwarzeneggers thought Miley Cyrus was a bad influence on Patrick, they may need to rethink that. It seems he's bad all by himself!

It looks like these two may be in it for the long-run. "They are completely in love and obsessed with each other. Everywhere they went, they were all over each other. They never stopped holding hands and wrapping their arms around each other," we previously learned when the couple took a vacation to Hawaii together.

Here's a flashback of Patrick's dad in Terminator 2 during a car chase.
