'The Hills' Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari & Heidi Montag Still Friends? '1st Look' Star Talks Finding Herself After MTV Series Ended

The Hills might have ended five years ago, but diehard fans like us are still reeling from the end of one of our favorite shows of all-time. Without our weekly dose of Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge and Heidi Montag, our life has been a filled with a little bit of sadness. However, while we have the DVD box sets to keep us company, it is always good to hear about how our favorite California girls are doing following the MTV series ending.

According to People, since the show, Audrina has been living a much more tame life, with only the occasional moment in the spotlight. However, all of that is about to change again, as the star is launching a new NBC lifestyle show called 1^st Look.

Aside from her short-lived reality series on VH1, titled Audrina, and her stint on the ABC reality series, Dancing With the Stars, Patridge has kept a low profile and it was because she need to recuperate after being on The Hills for six seasons.

The star spoke out to Sweden with Love, saying that it took her a while after the show ended before finding herself again and deciding to get back on the small screen.

"I felt that I had to take a year off for my soul, for myself," Patridge explained. "I was so used to waking up and being told what to do, who to hang out with, what to say, what I was doing that night, who I should date. I felt I was losing who I was. I was like, 'What do I want? I don't know who I am anymore.'"

During her time off, Audrina explained that she "lived a simple life" and "took that time to figure out what I wanted."

As for her relationship with the other girls from the reality series, she says, "we're cordial. There are no bad feelings," but she did say that she doesn't really talk to Lauren Conrad or Lo Bosworth anymore. She does however, admit, "I talk to Kristin [Cavallari] every now and then, and Heidi [Pratt] and I talked every month."
