ABC's 'Marvel's Agent Carter' Recap: ‘Snafu’: Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter Under Attack By Leviathan!

Marvel's Agent Carter returns with an all-new episode on ABC. With Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper)'s life in danger and wanted by the Strategic Scientific Reserve, will Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) lose the trust of her own agents and trusted allies in 'Snafu?'

No longer friends, Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) grills Peggy, blaming her for Ray's death. After Roger (Shea Whigham) discovers one of his SSR agents is dead, he wants to turn up the heat on Peggy. Jack (Chad Michael Murray) is brought in to ask questions, but Peggy won't accept Howard Stark hung her out to dry. Though Peggy warns the SSR about Dottie (Bridget Regan), Underwood is planning the next stage of her mission. 

Jarvis (James D'Arcy) arrives at SSR headquarters with a signed confession from Stark. Roger will not give up Jarvis and Peggy for a piece of paper until the man himself shows up. When Stark arrives, Peggy is officially fired from the SSR. Matters get worse because Jarvis faked Stark's confession to save Peggy. 

In his phone call, Roger makes peace with his wife and asks to visit his kids. Peggy spots Ivancheko talking to Dottie and deciphers his message. In 19 minutes, the Leviathan plans to attack SSR headquarters. To save time, Peggy reveals what she already knows, Ivancheko's timetable, and the vial of Captain America's blood.

Under Ivancheko's hypnosis, Roger imagines himself with his reunited family. Jack and Daniel are checking out their building in case Leviathan attacks. Remembering what happened in Russia, Jack tells Daniel to start shooting no matter what. Roger manages to lock Jarvis and Peggy in another room. 

Roger then shows Ivancheko a specific Stark invention in the lab. After Dottie sneaks her way inside, she and Daniel end up fighting in the hallway. After getting his gun, Daniel watches as Dottie jumps down from one floor to another. While Ivancheko leaves with Stark's invention, Jack discovers a dead agent on the floor. 

After Ivancheko escapes with Dottie, Peggy and Jarvis work together to smash through the mirror. In his dream, Roger has arrived back home and tells his wife how he screwed up at work. When he wakes up, Roger has a bomb attached to his chest. 

Grabbing a gun, Roger realizes he has to sacrifice himself and jumps out the window. The outside explosion sends a shockwave across the streets. In the wreckage, Peggy discovers a missing crate. At a movie theater, Dottie unleashes a poisonous gas, which turns everyone against each other and kills them.
