All we can say is it's about time comedian Colin Quinn got his own series ... just saying. The famed comic and former Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchor just dropped the premiere for his new web series Cop Show, which is now on L/Studio. The Law & Order parody video came just after Quinn's appearance on SNL's legendary 40th anniversary show. And if that weren't enough to grab your interest ... how about if we told you Quinn's friend and fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld appeared on the episode? Well, he does...

Mocking the likes of Law & Order and similar cop shows – hey, now we get the title! – of that genre, Quinn stars in his very own series as himself shooting a show in which he is a detective in New York City, with Seinfeld backing it ... whether he likes it or not.

For the record, he doesn't.

Like we said, it's about time Colin Quinn got his own series.

As mentioned, Quinn was part of the SNL 40th anniversary special. During his segment, the comedian paid tribute to Weekend Update legend Chevy Chase alongside Seth Meyers, Kevin Nealon and Norm MacDonald.
