Is Disney Making A 'Tron' Video Game? [RUMORS]

When you think of the movies Tron and Tron Legacy, your mind probably isn't too far away from the topic of video games. So a new rumors claiming Disney is working on a new video game based on the franchise is definitely pretty exciting. According to a new interview with Academy Award winning songwriter and composer Giorgio Moroder, we could be seeing an EDM-filled Tron video game in the near future!

Speaking with Clash Music recently, the video game project was alluded to, with Moroder revealing he could team up with Skrillex on the project.

"I'm going to meet Skrillex next week," the acclaimed songwriter told the website. "I'm doing the music for a game for Disney's Tron. We have about five themes, electronic stuff and let's see if he's interested in remixing or re-working one of the songs."

As Slash Film points out, Disney recently added the animated series Tron: Uprising to its Infinity 2.0 platform, but "five themes" sounds like a bigger project than that. Slash Film reached out to Disney, asking about this rumor, and the response from the company definitely didn't answer any questions.

So this news can go either way, if we examine this response. The company wouldn't want to share any information before an official announcement, but even if it isn't true, leaving this open-ended attracts attention to the possibility. As usual, Disney knows how to keep us entertained.
