Season 3 of The Americans continues with an all-new episode on FX. As the spy/family drama picks up from last season's cliff-hanger, will undercover spies Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip (Matthew Rhys) Jennings suddenly find their cover blown by their stashed 'Dimebag?'

While Elizabeth is spying on a teenage girl, Philip realizes she is too young to be a hard target. Paige (Holly Taylor)'s birthday is coming up, but she doesn't want to  make a big thing out of it. Paige then decides to invite the pastor and his wife to her birthday party.

Back at the Russian prison, Nina (Annet Mahendru) is given info about her cellmate, who was screwed by her boyfriend. Nina is supposed to get the truth out of her and if she is successful, she receives a lighter sentence. Philip and Elizabeth are worried that their daughter either doesn't have friends, or is trying to bug them.

At an EST meeting, Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich) goes up front and discusses the problems with his marriage. Stan then lays out everything he's feeling about the divorce. He then meets with Tori (Callie Thorne), who gives him her number.

Philip flirts with his teenage target, Kimberly (Julia Garner), and her friends, who need new fake IDs. While Elizabeth shows up at Lisa's house as Michelle, Philip talks with his son and daughter about the birthday party. Philip then takes a call from the Center and gets his new orders. Back at FBI headquarters, Stan thinks there is something suspicious about the defector.

At the prison, Nina tries to earn the trust of her cellmate. As Michelle, Elizabeth gets Lisa to talk about her failing marriage. Maurice has been out of work for fourth months and they sent their kids to her sister's. Philip meets with Kimberly again, listens to her music, and gets her to flirt back.

Nina tries again and tells her cellmate she betrayed her country. Wanted for treason, Nina used to be KGB until she did stupid things. Elsewhere, Stan is at a diner with his defector. He opens up about being separated from his wife. As a birthday present, Philip gives Paige the new Yaz album.

Elizabeth tells Philip she is going to recruit Paige, with or without him. Back at the diner, Stan can't find anything that proves his suspicions about the defector.  At the prison, Nina pretends to have nightmares to get her cellmate to comfort her.

During the birthday party, the pastor and his wife arrives and preaches at the dinner party. Paige reveals she wants to be baptized, which makes Elizabeth and Philip both uncomfortable. Stan reveals to his wife about the affair, that he loved his mistress, and apologizes.

While Elizabeth and Philip argue over Paige's baptism, he has to go out and meet Kimberly alone. At their date, Philip puts his arm around Kimberly and smokes pot with her.
