Lil Wayne is staying high in order to ignore his legal beef with YMCMB CEO Birdman. Recently, the rapper's daughter Reginae Carter confirmed to The Breakfast Club that the beef between the two former friends have been lingering since her birthday Nov. 29.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the rapper didn't say much about his ongoing legal woes with his label and explained his December "I'm a prisoner" tweet was referring to his sex life and not his frustration over the delay of his "Tha Carter V" album, "I love being a prisoner in some pussy. That's what I meant." He says before admitting that he "numbs" out the drama, "I'm human," he says. "But it's nothing that a good blunt can't cure."

The rapper claims the project is finished and that it's now kept for a raniy day by Birdman, "It's super-done," he says. "Cake baked, icing on top, name on top, candles lit. I would have released it yesterday if I could. But it's a dead subject right now. It's a jewel in the safe. It's that stash-house money."

Lil Wayne's daughter chimmed in on the beef during her interview and revealed that the beef has been happening for some time now, but no matter what he was still her "Parrain," which means godfather in French.
