Hot 97's "Ebro in the Morning Show" radio host, Peter Rosenberg slams Iggy Azalea for "dissing" the show during an interview with "Zach Sang & The Gang" radio show.

Iggy explained that she wasn't getting the respect that she deserved in the Hip Hop industry and, "I think ultimately they don't. It's very frustrating for me because I'll have personal relationships with them outside the media- that people don't understand us or realize how deep that goes, and so then I find it particularly offensive when they'll- I think- often times take on the general opinion of others or the viewership to try to get clicks and things like that I'll kind of be like, 'Hmmm I'm finding this pretty unrespectable right now, which are you? Don't text my phone!'"

After playing the sound bite, Peter decided to go in on the "Fancy" rapper for her verbal lashing, "Don't text your phone, ok that's not very nice, I will not." He said sarcastically, "Iggy and I have definitely talked before and when she says there's a relationship that goes beyond what people may know. Yea, there are things like when I'm out of town I make sure to go to a Iggy Azalea show, even though it may not have been the kind of show I've gone to on my own, but I wanna see what Iggy is doing."

Peter explained that the show's intent to have the rapper's enemy Azealia Banks on the show was not to stir up hate for the Australian star, "We've never dissed Iggy and I'm not gonna start now and slander that woman's name. Now, did we give another artist a platform to come on and express her feelings about Iggy Azalea? Yes, we did."

He added, "Did we agree and understand what some of the things that artist said?" he answered himself, "Of course. Yes, we did. However instead of Iggy talking to me about that, she DM me upset and then instantly unfollowed me."

That is not how you handle a dialogue." He explained that the show had conversations with and bout the star, but only to help her "gain credibility in the Hip Hop world," and slammed her for going on a pop radio show to discuss matters in Hip Hop.
