PlayStation Network has released an all-new featurette for its superhero/drama series, Powers. Based on the comic book by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, detectives Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward) and Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) provide an inside look ahead of their March premiere.

As we previously mentioned, Powers is set in an alternate world where superpowers have become part of everyday life. At the "Powers" Division of the Los Angeles Police Department, Detective and ex-superhero Christian Walker (Copley) has been assigned to his new feisty partner, Deena Pilgrim (Heyward). The first story arc, "Who Killed Retro Girl?" follows the lead detectives as they investigate the murder of a popular super heroine (played by Michelle Forbes).

According to the Playstation blog, showrunner Charlie Huston explains his involvement on the show, "I'm still studying Powers, but with a far different perspective. My days just now are spent in editing bays studying the footage from the Powers TV show that I am somehow, utterly improbably, helping to create. Above you will get a chance to see a little behind the scenes featurette that teases all our efforts. And shortly after that, you get to start watching the show."

We mentioned before, audiences got a taste of the series at the 2014 New York Comic Con. Now viewers get behind-the-scenes footage, along with interviews from the cast and crew.

In the video, Eddie Izzard (Wolfe) explains the premise, "In Powers, we have a story where people have powers and they don't care what they do with them. Just like real humans do in this world, if they get to a position where they get fame, some people just do what they hell they want with them."

Copley describes his character, "This guy, when he had his powers, he was a bit of an a**hole. So losing them humbled him, and he's wondering, would he be a better person this time?"
