Based on the popular crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season of Justified continues on FX. Before their inevitable showdown, will Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) and Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) become "conflicted" over Ava (Joelle Carter)'s kiss?

In our previous recap, Raylan discovered Avery Markham (Sam Elliott) is planning to legalize his weed business while stealing property to grow it. While Boyd plans on stealing Avery's idea and robbing his money, Ava was having a nervous breakdown. After spending an entire day with Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen), Ava is afraid Katherine knows about the deal she made with Raylan.

In our recent recap, Raylan had to chase down Ava when she went on the run. After rescuing her from Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson)'s right-hand man, Raylan made a new deal with Ava, promising her money and a fresh start. Wanting to believe his promises, Ava rekindled their past romance and kissed Raylan.

In an interview with with Yahoo TV, showrunner Graham Yost explains what's going on inside Raylan's head, "He has great affection for her, and he plays such a hard line with her, but how does he really feel about her being with Boyd these past few years? He knows he's responsible for her going back to Harlan 'cause he hooked up with his ex-wife. So it's all very conflicted. But I think he does know that she could be playing him, and he would understand that, not have any great acrimony about it, because he knows that she's in an awful position and she's just trying to stay alive. But he can also be the hard-line Raylan and sort of think, "Well you put yourself in this position, so don't come crying to me about it."

In an interview with Variety, Carter describes Ava's feelings as, "It's just the moment. It's maybe a thank you. They still have chemistry, but also she wants to believe in him because she's horrified about what might happen if Boyd finds out. She's been playing the rat for so long and we know, historically, that if Boyd finds out that someone has betrayed him, it doesn't go well."

We have 5 reasons why you should watch the final season of Justified.

Justified continues Tuesdays, at 10 p.m. on FX.

Readers, would Boyd be angry if he knew Ava is a snitch, or that she kissed Raylan?
