'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans Nasty Fight With Mother Barbara Evans: Custody Battle Heats Up With MTV Stars!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans's drama at home with fiancé Nathan Griffith has taken a backseat to the custody battle she is enduring with her mom, Barbara Evans. The MTV mother and daughter's hostile relationship took a turn for the worse when Jenelle was forbidden to take her son Jace out with her.

"Jenelle asked her mom if she could simply take Jace to the movies," a source told Radar Online. "But Barbara said no, that they had plans."

"Jenelle told her mom, 'It's not to sleep over - it's just to go see a movie,'" the source continued. "[Barbara] insisted they had plans and said it was too bad. Barbara then said they could make visitation whenever they go to court."

The reality star recently sued her mom for custody with a court date set for early March.

"It made Jenelle pissed," according to Radar. "But she kept calm and said 'okay' and then hung up on Barbara."

As MStars News reported, the MTV stars had a major blowup that led to Jenelle filing for custody of Jace. The fight started when the MTV star's son said his grandmother wanted him to call her "Mom." Jenelle went crazy after hearing this and challenged her mom. Barbara told her that the Jace "can call me whatever he wants," and Jenelle shouldn't be "brainwashing him."

"Barbara said that her grandson shouldn't be around Nathan because of his tendency to drink," Radar reported. "[The source] insisted that neither Jenelle nor Nathan have been partying since their engagement last month."

When Jenelle told her mom she will take her to court for custody, "Barbara didn't take her seriously [at first]," the source said, "but then when Barbara finally got served last week, she got mad."

"Barbara's excuses keep changing," the source continued. "When Jenelle asked last week why she couldn't see Jace, Barbara said, 'Well, you're taking me to court, aren't you? Alright then, you aren't seeing Jace' - then she hung up on Jenelle."
