Stars of the hit 1995 pop-cult phenomenon "Clueless" - including the likes of Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Elisa Donovan, and Breckin Meyer - have reunited 17 years later for a special Entertainment Weekly magazine "The Reunions" issue. While the now grown-up cast opened up about the film that changed their lives (plus reminisced about the sad passing of co-star Brittany Murphy), Dash used her renowned moment in the spotlight to publically endorse her support of presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Twitter this past weekend. While some critics decided to bring race into the issue, 46-year-old Dash strongly maintained her Republican stance, even receiving a supportive tweet from Romney himself.

Catch a video of the "Clueless" cast reunion here (with special appearances by hottie Christian Stovitz, frenemy Summer, and nerdy teacher Ms. Geist plus more!). The crew reminisces about 1990s fashion, popular "Valley Girl" catchphrases, and their good times with the late Brittany Murphy:

As for Dash's recent sexy American-themed Romney Twitter endorsement on Sunday, the actress tweeted this message and photo:

@REALStaceyDash: "Vote for Romney. The only choise for your future, @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE, #voteromney."

The "Single Ladies" star promptly began receiving negative backlash, such as one tweet that reads: "You're an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You're voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot."

But Dash held her ground, tweeting back:

@REALStaceyDash: "My humble opinion... EVERYONE is entitled to one."

Even with some critics slamming Dash (and bringing gender and race into the issue), many fans expressed their support, even including Romney himself:

@MittRomney: "Women have had enough of @BarackObama's disappointment. We need new leadership to get our economy growing again."

Dash's fashion-conscious "Clueless" character Dionne Davenport probably wouldn't have given any thought to the presidential election back in the 1990s, so good for Dash for getting involved in the 2012 presidential election, no matter what her views!
