'The Bachelor' Chris Soules Castoff Kaitlyn Bristowe New 'Bachelorette'? Whitney and Becca's Competition Talks Possible New Role

With Chris Soules's season of The Bachelor drawing to a close, everyone's attention is on who will get the coveted spot as the new Bachelorette. Soules might have just broken fans's hearts, and Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart for that matter, when he decided to send her home on this week's episode of the series, but it looks like while she might have been unlucky in love with Chris, she's about to get the opportunity to choose between 25 of her own bachelors.

Kaitlyn even got a glowing recommendation from her former flame Chris, as he told E! News during the taping of the Women Tell All special that he would definitely want to see the castoff look for love as the new Bachelorette.

"I think I would definitely go with someone from this cast. And right now, my personal opinion would be Kaitlyn," the star told the news site during the taping. "I think she's got the right type of energy. She's funny, she can be entertaining and she's beautiful. She's at [a] point in her life that she's really serious about finding love. I think that's important. When you're on this, you don't want somebody there who wants more notoriety. You want someone who's really sincere."

While Soules is looking at Kaitlyn for the role, it seems that producers aren't so sure about their pick just yet, as it is between a few of the ladies from Chris's season.

"There's a massive debate going on behind the scenes. So, you know, Britt, Kaitlyn, Jade and Becca and Whitney ... there's a lot of options," host of the show Chris Harrison explained. "We're passionate about it. It's a huge decision for us."
