Pilar Sanders Battles Nasty Deion Sanders Divorce, Has Electricity Shut Off for Non-Payment, Pleads for Hefty Child Support Payments

Reality and fitness star Pilar Sanders is currently battling a nasty divorce from estranged husband Deion "Prime Time" Sanders as well as fighting for child support for their four children - how could things get more complicated? The electric company turning off Pillar's electricity and gas for non-payment would probably do it. Because Pilar can't seem to make ends meet, her attorneys recently filed an emergency request to the Supreme Court of Texas for Deion to continue with his (hefty) child support payments - something which the former NFL/MLB star does not want to do.

But even though Pilar seems to be struggling, Deion isn't hearing it. According to court documents obtained by Rumor Fix, Deion makes $161,565.25 a month and is worth $250 million. The 45-year-old's attorneys claim that $10,500 in child support is extreme and six times what everyone else in Texas pays. Not to mention that paying the utilities is not a child support expense.

Still, Pilar claims that the $10,500 a month is just six percent of Deion's income.

Deion was ordered to pay $10,500 a month in child support in April, but because the two are locked in a court battle no payments have been made.

According to Pilar's publicist Kali Bowyer: "This is an horrific situation that Mr. Sanders has placed Pilar and the children in, by completely disregarding his, not only court ordered obligations, but as well as his obligations as a father to provide support. It clearly comes as a great shock to see that one of America's beloved athletes would turn his back on a hungry child, especially his own. While Pilar has pleaded for the courts to take a stand and enforce the existing support order, she has yet to see any relief in the matter."

Pilar and Deion met on the set of LL Cool J's show "In the House" and married in 1999. After 12 years of marriage, starring in a number of reality television stints including "Prime Time Love" and "Football Wives"," things started to fall apart. In April 2012, Pilar was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking Deion at their Texas home. In an interview with hellobeautiful.com, Pilar had this to say about the ongoing messy divorce proceedings with her famous ex:

"Most divorces aren't happy occasions. Neither is mine. My divorce just happens to be with an ex pro baller (football and baseball) and is filled with abuse, lies, and part-time parenting. All I can do is be me. I've been honest, tried to be private and always been a good mother (putting my children first). Anything negative about me came from lies and or from those who don't know me. But I can't worry about that, all I can do is live my life the best way I can. I cannot worry about things that I can't change or have no control over. Everyone is going to have an opinion whether it's based on truth or lies, regardless, that's life. My truth is my life whether it is accepted or not."
