The March 2, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey at 8 p.m. Eastern and will continue on the road to WrestleMania 31.

Roman Reigns is set to face off with Brock Lesnar in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a few weeks after the 2015 Royal Rumble winner defeated Daniel Bryan in the main event of Fast Lane. Both Bryan and Paul Heyman came out last week to praise Reigns, though for different reasons. Bryan wants Reigns to slay the Beast, while Heyman adamantly states that Reigns doesn't have a chance.

Of course, the backstage situation with Lesnar, Vince McMahon, and the WWE continues to be as engrossing, if not moreso, than the on-screen product after a shouting match reportedly occurred between Brock and McMahon last week.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion was reportedly backstage at Monday Night Raw last week after flying into Nashville. WWE had planned to use him on the show and had advertised him to appear alongside Paul Heyman, but something apparently went wrong and only Heyman went out for the segment with Roman Reigns.

Initial reports and rumors said the show went through some late rewrites and WWE simply decided not to use Lesnar last night, but now it appears that there is more to the story. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer said during his radio show last Monday night that "something is going on" but cautioned that he is not sure what it is.

PW Insider also reported that sources told the site that there is an issue between Lesnar and WWE tied to their business relationship rather than the creative side. PWI also said Vince McMahon "acknowledged the issue during a SmackDown production meeting today" but it's unclear what exactly the boss said.

More updates have since come out about the situation. Meltzer had the following to say: "There was a heated, loud discussion where Vince and Brock were yelling and screaming at each other, loud enough where other people were concerned, especially for Vince because it really sounded bad."

The Wrestling Observer also reported that the WWE writing team asked McMahon if it needed to create an alternate WrestleMania story without Lesnar, and the boss emphatically said no.

Infamous Reddit user MetsFan4Ever also posted this about Lesnar early Monday:

"The argument that lead to Brock Lesnar storming out of Raw last week was that Brock wanted to go to the UFC show this past weekend and discuss a potential deal with the UFC. Vince McMahon was strongly against this as long as Brock was under WWE contract. Brock stormed out of the building and as we all know, showed up at the UFC show. Unless Vince pulls a miracle off, it is just a matter of time before we see Brock Lesnar headlining another UFC pay-per-view."

Lesnar is not scheduled for tonight's Raw, so it should be very interesting to see what develops tonight.

Jon Stewart is also scheduled to appear on the show to answer the challenge of Seth Rollins. What role will the Daily Show host play on tonight's show? Will Randy Orton be involved at all, as ally or enemy to Rollins?

Where does Daniel Bryan go from here now that he lost his chance at the main event of WrestleMania 31? Rumors say he could face either Dolph Ziggler or a returning heel Sheamus. Could we see some set up for that tonight?

John Cena is also angling for a rematch with Rusev at WrestleMania 31? Will the United States Champion grant him his request, or will he continue to deny Cena the chance to redeem himself after his loss at Fast Lane?

As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action. But for now, let us know your thoughts, opinions, guesses, and predictions for tonight's show in the comments section.
