Debbie Reynolds, the popular Hollywood actress/singer/dancer, was hospitalized in L.A. this past weekend after experiencing a bad reaction to her prescription medications. While rumors report that the "Singin' in the Rain" star was forced to cancel three months of upcoming shows, her manager claims that such cancellations are not yet set in stone.
The 80-year-old starlet is still currently in the hospital. "Debbie was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles due to an adverse reaction she experienced to a medication she was currently taking," her rep said in a statement. "On the advice of her doctors, Reynolds has been forced to cancel appearances and concert engagements for the next three months."
Reynolds has taken an active part in the entertainment industry since 1948. The Academy Award winner still maintains a vigorous work schedule and tours frequently - she hopes that she recovers in time to appear in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day on the "Follow the Stars, Adopt a Pet" float.
Reynolds recently starred in "One for the Money" opposite Katherine Heigl.
