Tim Tebow Virgin Status Update: Jets Owner Woody Johnson and Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor Weigh In [VIDEO]

Jets quarterback Tim Tebow announced that he was a virgin (back in 2009) and plans on waiting to have sex until he is married - the 25-year-old's love and dating life have been a hot topic of NFL "gossip" conversation ever since. And now it looks like Jets owner Woody Johnson and football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor have weighed in on the "Tebow romance" subject (well, Taylor more so than Johnson). Read on for details...

In a CNBC "Squawk Box" interview on Wednesday, host Becky Quick asks Johnson: "Do you know...is [Tebow] still a virgin?"

Johnson manages to smoothly dismiss the topic by simply responding, "We don't really go into that." Watch a clip of Johnson professionally avoiding the awkward "sex" question here:

On the same day (Oct. 10), former Giants star Taylor appeared on an "Inside the NFL" segment entitled "Dear Insiders" - host James Brown read Taylor a faux "fan letter" which read:

"(Dear Lawrence,) Like you, I'm a clean-living, hard-hitting, good ol' southern boy trying to make it in The Big Apple. What was the secret to your success? Thanks in advance, (signed) Tim from the Meadowlands." (Obviously mocking Tim Tebow).

Taylor then responds to the bogus viewer with this advice: "I would say he would have to go to church, Temple -- wherever he goes -- find a nice girl. I mean marry her if he has to ... but he's got to get some of that pressure off." Lawrence also managed to add some colorful language between thoughts.

Brown and his co-hosts Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth laughingly groaned, with Simms responding: "As you soon as you said Tim Tebow, I knew this was not gonna be good."

Tebow's love/sex life has been the brunt of many jokes ever since he announced that he was a virgin.

Tebow has been "linked" to many young women, including Kelly Faughnan, Erin Drewes, Lucy Pinder, and Lindsey Vonn, but as far as the public knows, he is still single and a virgin.
