Beyoncé recently announced that she would have to exit out of the casting for Clint Eastwood's upcoming movie remake of "A Star is Born" due to busy scheduling conflictions. While Beyoncé claims she was looking forward to starring in the film and working with Eastwood, many fans now question if the duo's clashing political views had anything to do with the "4" songstress backing out of the film. Beyoncé and her hubby Jay-Z are avid supporters of Democrat Barack Obama, while Eastwood stanchly backs Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Beyoncé and her rapper husband Jay-Z recently held a fundraiser at the 40/40 club in Manhattan which helped to raise $4 million for President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. The celebrity couple avidly supports Obama and his First Lady Michelle - the Obamas even celebrated their first inaugural dance at the Neighborhood Ball back in 2009 to Beyoncé performing a rendition of Etta James' classic "At Last," check it out:

As for Eastwood, he's not shy about sharing his honest (negative) opinions about Obama. Just check out his speech at the 2012 Republican National Convention:

That's right, at one point Eastwood says, "I remember 3-and-a-half years ago, when Mr. Obama won the election, and though I wasn't a supporter I was watching that thing. And there were talking about 'hope and change' and 'yes we can' ... I thought it was great. Everyone's crying. Oprah's crying. Even I was crying. I haven't cried so hard since I found out there are 23 million unemployed people in this country. That is a national disgrace." It seems like the 82-year-old is more of an Obama-hater rather than Romney-supporter.

So what do fans think? Is Beyoncé truly just too busy to work with Eastwood, or are their some underlying political hostilities between the two?
