Redacted Studios has released images from the upcoming Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma. Ready to be featured at the Games Developers Conference 2015, audiences want to know if actor Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as the main protagonist and if RZA will contribute to the soundtrack once more.

As we previously mentioned, the videogame franchise is based on the manga illustrated by Takashi Okazaki. The title character was inspired by the love of hip hop and soul music. After witnessing his father being decapitated, a little boy trained himself to become the best swordsman in order to retrieve his father's No. 1 headband. The hit manga series was later on adapted as an anime TV project starring the Avengers actor and with music by the Kill Bill composer.

According to the official Twitter account, @AfromSamuraiGame shares a snapshot from the game and states, "Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma is coming: learn more at #GDC2015"

The official Facebook page has also released another image and states, "Showing off Afro Samurai 2 during #GDC2015"

Gamer Center Online reports, the sequel will feature new playable characters, such as Jinno. In the mythology, Jinno is Afro's older brother and the sole survivor of a bloody massacre. With a robotic bear's head on, Jinno seeks revenge against Afro for the death of their master. In 2012, David Robinson left Namco Bandai, developers of the original Afro Samurai, to form Redacted Studios.

In a video interview with Open Forum Radio, Robinson mentions the artists for the soundtrack will be released soon. The game follows Jinno as he seeks revenge against fro, who has the Number One headband. We can only speculate that Afro is the last boss gamers will fight in the game.

Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma is expected to be released sometime in 2015. GDC takes place from March 4th to the 6th.
