The New York Yankees vs. the Baltimore Orioles face off in Game 4 of the MLB American League Division Series (ALDS) playoffs on Thursday, Oct. 11 at Yankee Stadium. An injured Derek Jeter says that he will play in Game 4. The Yankee shortstop was taken out of Game 3 in the 9^th inning because of a bone bruise in his left foot. He will bat but not play the field.

The Yankees ended their regular MLB season as AL East champs. The Orioles defeated the Texas Rangers in a one game wild card playoff, allowing them to advance to the playoffs. The bombers dominated in Game 1 against the Orioles, even through a rain delay. The Orioles proved victorious in a rainy Game 2, and the Yanks took Game 3. The winner of the first round of playoff series will go on to play the winner of the Oakland Athletics vs. Detroit Tigers AL Division Series playoffs. Those two teams are currently tied with two wins each in the AL playoffs series, and will battle it out in the final Game 5 Thursday night at 9:37 p.m. E.T.
