One feud at the E! network might have cooled down, but it seems like another one's waiting in the wings. It has not been a good month to be Giuliana Rancic: Not only did she find herself in the middle of the Fashion Police controversy after making a remark about Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks, but now it seems that she and Maria Menounos are once again at each other's throats.

According to Radar Online, the two talk show hosts have not been getting along because Rancic feels that Menounos is stepping on her turf -- and rightfully so -- as the former Extra and Access Hollywood anchor has set her sights on E!.

The news site is reporting that Maria is basking in all the negative criticism Rancic has been getting following the Zendaya fallout.

"She thinks it is hilarious that everything is working in her favor, and she didn't have to play the 'Mean Girl' game at all," the insider said of Maria.

Menounos allegedly knew that coming on board at E! was going to ruffle some of Giuliana's feathers, but she didn't let this affect her decision.

"When she came aboard, everyone knew that it was just a matter of time before Giuliana self-destructed," said the insider.

But for E! it wasn't about hurting Giuliana's feelings, but rather about acquiring a talent that has a huge following.

"Maria has no enemies in the industry," the insider explained. "She has a very loyal and strong fan base, which is why E! acquired her in the first place."

Menounos and Rancic aren't seeing eye-to-eye because Giuliana believes Maria is trying to take over her position, which might just be the case. The star posted a picture to her Instagram account from the set of E! News, as she took over the show for the night last week.
