The CW's Arrow still has a lot of ground to cover before it reaches its Season 3 finale, but some information about the last episode has already been released, and it has some major implications for Season 4.

The following comes from the "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine:

"Question: Anything cool coming up on Arrow? -Julie
Ausiello: The show's Season 3 finale will introduce a major, formidable, fierce new foe for Oliver, and his reign of terror will continue well into Season 4. The mysterious character is being referred to internally as "Damian Dark," which got Matt Mitovich and I (but mostly MM) pulling up and skimming the Wiki page of one Damian Wayne. Get it? Damian Wayne. Son of the Dark Knight. They'd probably have to tweak the Bruce Wayne connection, but it's a plausible theory, no?UPDATE: Readers better-schooled than Matt Mitovich and I (but mostly MM) notes that Damien Darhk is a H.I.V.E. operative per DC lore, and thus is more likely to be introduced."

It would be a change for Arrow to introduce its Season 4 villain at the end of Season 3, especially because Ra's al Ghul is already such a formidable enemy. One would think he would take up the entirety of Season 3, and the new villain would not emerge until next season.

In case you missed the last episode, "Nanda Parbat," Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) slept with Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), which undoubtedly upset those who are rooting for her and Oliver (Stephen Amell) to get together. But executive producer Andrew Kreisberg spoke to TVLine and offered some soothing words:

"Olicity fans, still in tears over Felicity sleeping with her boss, Ray Palmer? Perhaps these words from Kreisberg will offer some solace as to why the tech whiz has moved on: 'Part of the fun of watching couples on television is keeping them apart and watching how other people come in and out of their lives,' the EP says. 'For right now, Oliver has decided that [he] can't do this, and Felicity's not just going to sit around waiting for him. She's probably the most healthy of all of them. He's the one shutting himself down, emotionally, when he has this amazing person who's basically offering him hope, guidance, friendship and love and everything. He doesn't feel he deserves it and doesn't feel that's what's best for her, whether she agrees with it or not.' On the other end of the spectrum, but not so far apart from Oliver, is Ray, who's 'had a tragedy and he's trying to do right by it, but he's opening his heart to her. And he's Brandon Routh. How can you blame her?' Kreisberg adds."
