This pivotal Game 5 will determine which team goes on to play in the NL Championship Series against the San Francisco Giants. The Nationals proved victorious in Game 1 of the playoff series winning 3-2 and the Cardinals swept both Game 2 (12-4) and Game 3 (8-0). The Nationals came back with a win in Game 4 (2-1). Tonight determines which team will advance, and which team will have to wait for redemption in the spring.
